Description

Your padded recliner rocker combines rocker runners with a recline mechanism — the comfort king of the porch. Without a proper cushion padded recliner rocker cover, constant weather exposure will fade the upholstery, weather the wood or wicker frame, and drag generic covers under the runners until the hem frays. Standard rocking chair covers often don't provide the coverage they need, resulting in baggy, leaky coverage that does more harm than protection.

Invest in a custom cushion padded recliner rocker cover to preserve your cushion padded recliner rocker. A reliable, tailored, all-weather protection that not only promises to protect but actually protects. These waterproof rocking chair covers are designed with heavy-duty polyvinyl chloride-coated material to keep your investment safe in rain, Sun, snow, sleet, or wind.

Why Choose Our Rocking Chair Covers?

• Custom-Tailored

Patterned for a chair that’s two machines in one — rocker runners below, recline mechanism within — the cover fits the upright, closed position with clearance cut for the mechanism’s housing.

• Breathable Design

Vents keep drying air moving around the recline hardware inside the cover, protecting the pivots and rails that quietly corrode inside every uncovered outdoor recliner.

• All Weather Performance

Waterproof over the deep cushioning that soaks slowest and driest last, UV-resistant across the padded crown — with the mechanism beneath shielded from the drips that find every hinge.

• Effortless Maintenance with Functional Features

One damp-cloth pass cleans what would otherwise be padded channels, seams, and lever recesses; a seasonal hand-wash under running water and a full air-dry keep the cover itself fresh.

• Long-term Durability

This is the most mechanically complex chair on the porch, and the cover is its cheapest insurance — 18 oz fabric, reinforced at the hardware line, 10-year warranty.

Fabric Information

Custom-designed with heavy-duty 18-ounce 1000 Denier PVC-coated polyester, engineered to endure harsh weather conditions without any cracking or fading. The material is waterproof, UV-stabilized, and weather-resistant to stay put in extreme temperatures.

The smart, ventilated construction promotes airflow to minimize condensation, allowing your cushion padded recliner rocker to breathe. Ultimately, it prevents any mold and mildew growth. Reinforced seams assure that your cushion padded recliner rocker stays dry inside. Dual side handles for easing up installation, and optional drawstrings and grommets for extra protection during heavy winds. Super easy to clean, maintain, and store. Hand wash, air dry completely, fold, and store in a moisture-proof container when not in use.

Frequently Asked Questions

Upright and fully closed — always. The closed position retracts the footrest, seats the mechanism in its most protected fold, and gives the chair its most compact, most covered silhouette. A cover fitted to the upright profile also can’t be forced over a reclined chair, which is a feature: it makes the right storage position the only one.
It’s patterned around it. Note the lever’s side and position when ordering and the cover is cut with clearance at that point, so the fabric drapes past without loading the lever. That matters mechanically — side levers are cast parts that snap under sustained sideways pressure, and a tight generic cover applies exactly that.
It finds the pivots. A recliner rocker carries spring assemblies, sector gears, and greased rails under the seat — all steel, all happiest dry. Rain splash and runoff reach them from below even when the cushions shrug off the wet from above. The cover’s skirt drops the splash line below the hardware, which is where most of its value hides.
Measure it closed — upright, footrest in, the position it holds when covered. Width at the arms, depth from backrest to seat front, height floor-to-crown at rest on its runners. The reclined dimensions never enter the pattern, since the cover only ever meets the chair closed. If the footrest doesn’t fully retract, note the overhang.
They solve different problems. A water-displacing spray protects metal it touches for weeks; it does nothing for the cushions, upholstery, or the mechanism surfaces it misses, and it needs constant renewal. A cover protects everything at once, indefinitely, and lets a once-a-season silicone treatment of the pivots be genuinely enough.
About a week, according to most owners’ telling. The chair that gets used at 6 a.m. with coffee and 9 p.m. after dinner has natural cover-off and cover-on moments built into the day. Fifteen seconds at each end, folded to the porch bench between. The most-used chair is also the one whose padding and mechanism have the most hours to lose — the routine pays where the use is.
