Fall-Proof Your Patio: Get 20% OFF, Use Code: WELCOME20
18 oz vinyl earns its place on equipment yards and job sites because it resists what actually damages a tarp there: abrasion from being dragged, oil and grease from machinery, and cold that turns lighter coatings brittle. This is Tarp Armor, cut to the exact rectangle or square dimensions you enter.
It's the specification for permanent outdoor exposure and rough handling — equipment and storage that needs a tarp to genuinely outlast the elements rather than get replaced every season. It's the same fabric commercial operations reach for when a lighter tarp keeps tearing — a genuine step up from a light-duty custom PVC vinyl tarp rectangle cut, and heavier than most commercial heavy duty vinyl tarps on the market.
A 1000-denier scrim underneath the coating
The PVC keeps water out; the scrim is what stops a small puncture from becoming a long rip.
An oil and grease barrier
The surface wipes clean rather than absorbing what lands on it — the reason vinyl is standard in workshops and equipment yards.
Cold-crack resistant to -20°F
Stays flexible through winter instead of splitting along its folds the first time it's moved.
Backed by ZIPCushions

This is our custom heavy duty vinyl tarps rectangle build, and it's the heaviest option in our lineup.
Need a lighter, more flexible option for a tarp you handle often? See our Custom Medium Duty Vinyl Tarps. Custom printing is available — reach out with your artwork and dimensions before ordering.

This is our heaviest vinyl tarp, built for equipment yards and job sites where the fabric takes real abuse.
610 gsm, 22 mil, with a 1000-denier polyester scrim underneath the PVC coating. That scrim is what gives the tarp its tear strength; the coating is what makes it 100% waterproof and lets oil and grease wipe off the surface instead of soaking in.
Seams are heat-welded rather than stitched — the coated faces fuse into one continuous piece with no needle holes for water or grease to find. Rustproof brass grommets come standard at the four corners or spaced at approximately 24, 18, or 12 inches, with welded D-rings available at 24 or 12 inches. Add 1.5" reinforced webbing around the perimeter for anything tensioned hard or handled often.
As an 18 oz vinyl tarp custom cut to your dimensions, it's built to the same specification whether the finished panel is large or small.
