Sunbrella Canvas Macaw Curtain

Description

Some yards want a resort; Macaw delivers one. Hung around a poolside cabana or a covered swim-up bar, a custom macaw curtain brings the saturated blue-green that tropical hotels build entire palettes around — and it arrives sized to your structure instead of a stock rod.

Build the scene around it. Macaw Sunbrella drapes with natural rattan, bleached teak, and sand-tone cushions read Caribbean; the same panels over white pavers with citrus-yellow accents go Palm Springs. Even one panel per bay carries the theme.

The color also works hard in plain sight: a mid-dark jewel tone masks pollen film, sunscreen smudges, and splash marks far longer than the pale neutrals it usually replaces.

Why Choose This Curtain?

Cut for Your Cabana, Not a Catalog

Send post-to-post width and beam-to-hem drop and the panels come back matched to your bays — closing fully, clearing the deck by your chosen margin, and hanging straight from day one.

Saturation That Survives August

Bright teals are the first casualties of high-UV summers when the color is a coating. Macaw's is not: solution-dyed to the core, evenly weathering, and covered by a written 5-year colorfast warranty.

Poolside Is Its Job Description

Chlorinated splash beads off the highly water-repellent finish, the fabric resists staining and water spots, and the breathable acrylic dries before mildew gets a vote. Wet swimsuits draped over the tieback? Also fine.

Fabric Information

Macaw is named after the bird for a reason — a deep, saturated teal with real presence, greener than Pacific Blue and darker than Aruba. Colors this intense usually burn out fastest outdoors, but Macaw's pigment isn't sitting on the surface waiting for UV. It's blended into the liquid acrylic before the fiber is spun, and Sunbrella warrants it colorfast for 5 years.

Every Sunbrella Canvas Macaw outdoor curtain is cut to your stated width and drop, then assembled with double-stitched seams and UV-resistant outdoor thread. The fluorocarbon finish makes the panel highly water-repellent, while the breathable weave dries fast and resists rot in humid stretches.
