Description

Most curtains decorate a garden; this one joins it. A custom lichen curtain sits in the same palette as sage leaves, weathered stone, and shaded moss — so a pergola wrapped in it recedes into the planting instead of interrupting it. Landscape designers call the trick borrowed harmony; your neighbors will call it effortless.

Lichen Sunbrella drapes flatter every garden style that involves actual gardening: cottage borders, native-plant yards, fern-heavy shade patios. Terracotta pots, bluestone, and unfinished wood all read warmer beside the green-gray.

It's a quietly practical tone as well — pollen dust and leaf litter marks vanish into a color that was mixed from their landscape.

Why Choose This Curtain?

Fitted to the Frame, Faithful to the Garden

We sew to your post-to-post width and beam-to-hem drop, so panels close cleanly without excess fabric dragging into the beds. The structure stays crisp; the palette stays natural.

A Green That Won't Turn Institutional

Faded surface-dyed greens go flat and municipal. Lichen's gray-softened depth is locked into every fiber, weathering evenly under the 5-year colorfast warranty — still botanical in year five.

At Ease in the Dirtiest Season

Spring drops pollen; fall drops leaves. The highly water-repellent finish sheds what the hose will later chase, the fabric resists staining and water spots, and the organic tone keeps the interim invisible.

Fabric Information

Lichen takes its name from the exact organism on your garden stones — a muted green softened with gray until it belongs outdoors the way moss does. Nature-adjacent tones like this depend on subtlety, and subtlety is what surface dyes surrender first. Lichen's restraint is permanent: pigment enters the liquid acrylic before the fiber is spun, and Sunbrella warrants the color for 5 years.

Each Sunbrella Canvas Lichen outdoor curtain is built to your submitted width and drop with double-stitched seams and UV-resistant outdoor thread. A fluorocarbon finish keeps the panel highly water-repellent, and the breathable weave releases humidity instead of hosting rot.

Frequently Asked Questions

A muted green-gray — think sage leaves, weathered moss, or the lichen on old stone walls. It's nowhere near kelly or forest green; the gray softening is the point, letting the panel blend into planting rather than compete with it.

Better than any other family we sew. Because a Sunbrella Canvas Lichen outdoor curtain shares its undertones with foliage and stone, the structure reads as part of the garden — the same reason landscape architects spec green-grays for pool houses and garden pavilions.

It's the ideal supporting act. Muted green-gray makes saturated blooms — dahlias, zinnias, roses — look more vivid by contrast, the way foliage does. A bright curtain would compete with the beds; Lichen frames them.

Bluestone, fieldstone, aged brick, and gravel all sit naturally beside it — anything with age and texture. Poured white concrete works too, in a modern-garden direction. Skip glossy porcelain pavers; the fabric's organic register prefers matte company.

It's among the last colors to show it. Pollen's yellow-green haze lands close to the fabric's own tone, and the finish keeps particles sitting loose on the surface. A hose rinse when the trees finish is usually the whole spring routine.

It drifts gray as light warms and fades — a graceful evening shift that pairs well with fire features and warm string lights. By full dark it's a soft neutral; sunrise returns the green. Owners tend to list the shift as a feature.

Love it

Great product

Cover feels substantial and durable

Great covers, just as advertised

Great waterproof material and made to spec.

The material is good quality. The fit is not good, despite their website requiring a number of different measurements. Part of me suspects the website photos were generated by AI, as they’re almost too perfect.

Worth the money

I just received my order. I am very happy with the product.
It fits perfectly. Please let the people who created the cover know; they did a great job.
Here's a picture. I hope the material will last a long time against the sun. Just keep in mind that it does take 4-6 weeks so be very patient unlike me. haha. totally worth it

The tie downs at the corners were not long enough to latch together. Otherwise the build quality was very high.

Highly recommend!

I ordered a right arm love seat cover, left arm love seat cover and an ottoman cover in the higher end fabric. With a discount code, all 3 were a little over $300. The covers are perfect and the quality of the fabric is…..well, let’s just say it’ll probably outlive me! They’re very heavy duty and totally waterproof. Craftsmanship is excellent.

Customer service was A+. I had questions about measuring and some concerns about shipping. I used the chat option for questions about measurements and it was a REAL person, not a bot. He was friendly and personable. They also contacted me to verify some things about my measurements. When I contacted both sales and customer service via email with a question, they responded within hours. They’re constructed in another country and it took about 6 weeks from order to delivery. The delay was FedEx customs.

Bottom line, they are excellent covers at an extremely fair price that fit perfectly, will last forever and are a very friendly, responsive, competent company to work with.
