An ottoman is the most borrowed piece of furniture on the patio — a footrest for one chair, a side seat for a guest, a tray stand during appetizers — and its pad wears out on a schedule all its own. A custom ottoman cushion cover replaces just that pad's fabric, cut to your frame's true rectangle or square, in a fabric meant to be stepped on.
Fit tolerance is tighter here than almost anywhere. Ottoman pads are thin and their frames fully exposed, so a cover half an inch oversized wrinkles across the top like an unmade bed. Made-to-measure sizing keeps the pad's surface drum-flat, which is exactly what makes an ottoman look intentional next to its sofa.
If yours is the end-piece of a modular set, a replacement ottoman cushion cover in the sofa's fabric stitches the group back together visually. And out in the open, a waterproof ottoman cushion cover in Horizon keeps its post through the sprinkler cycle without a second thought.
Re-covering the seats it serves? Explore matching shapes in the outdoor cushion covers collection and keep the whole group in one fabric.
Why Choose Our Custom Ottoman Cushion Covers?
Cut to the Frame, Not the Category
Ottomans range from 18-inch squares to coffee-table rectangles, and the cover is patterned to yours — flush with the frame's edge, no overhang collecting rain, no shortfall exposing foam.
A Top Face That Takes Heels
The landing zone for feet gets abrasion-tolerant fabric and a surface that releases scuffs with a wipe. It's the difference between an ottoman that ages and one that just gets cleaned.
Flat Enough to Serve Drinks
A drum-tight custom fit keeps the top plane level, so a tray of glasses sits steady. Loose fabric under a tray is how patios lose stemware.
The Sectional's Missing Piece, Restored
When the ottoman doubles as a sectional end seat, matching fabric turns the sofa-plus-ottoman back into one continuous piece. Order them in the same run, and the dye lot matches, too.
Step-by-Step Measuring Guide
• Lift the pad off the frame and strip the old cover before measuring.
• Measure the pad's width and depth across the top — squares should match both directions; confirm rather than assume.
• Measure the thickness at the pad's side.
• Check whether the pad overhangs the frame or sits inside a lip, and measure the pad itself either way.
• Enter the three figures at checkout as measured — the boxed cover is cut to them precisely.
Ottoman pads take a specific kind of abuse: heels. Shoes land on the same face all season, grinding grit into the weave in a way seat cushions never experience. Fabric choice starts there — Sunbrella Horizon's marine-grade vinyl face wipes off sole marks and garden dust in one pass, while its waterproofing keeps propped-up-feet-in-light-rain evenings from ever reaching the foam.
Sunbrella Canvas fits ottomans that live under cover and moonlight as coffee tables — the woven, solution-dyed acrylic looks upholstered, repels water, and matches the rest of a Canvas seating set thread for thread. Warranty is the same on both lines: 5 years, limited, on strength and color.
Since ottoman pads sit low and get viewed from above, we place the YKK zipper on the underside edge. From any chair the pad shows nothing but clean fabric — and the corrosion-resistant coil stays out of the sun entirely.
• Rectangle and square ottoman pads, sewn to the frame's exact top
• Low-profile boxed build that hugs the pad without skirt or overhang
• Heel-and-tray duty fabric: Sunbrella Horizon vinyl or Sunbrella Canvas
• Matches sectional end-pieces so the ottoman reads as part of the sofa
• Underside zipper placement — nothing visible from any seat
• Stands up to the hardest-working surface on the patio: where feet land
• 5-year limited fabric warranty on either fabric
The tie downs at the corners were not long enough to latch together. Otherwise the build quality was very high.
I ordered a right arm love seat cover, left arm love seat cover and an ottoman cover in the higher end fabric. With a discount code, all 3 were a little over $300. The covers are perfect and the quality of the fabric is…..well, let’s just say it’ll probably outlive me! They’re very heavy duty and totally waterproof. Craftsmanship is excellent.
Customer service was A+. I had questions about measuring and some concerns about shipping. I used the chat option for questions about measurements and it was a REAL person, not a bot. He was friendly and personable. They also contacted me to verify some things about my measurements. When I contacted both sales and customer service via email with a question, they responded within hours. They’re constructed in another country and it took about 6 weeks from order to delivery. The delay was FedEx customs.
Bottom line, they are excellent covers at an extremely fair price that fit perfectly, will last forever and are a very friendly, responsive, competent company to work with.
Not waterproof. After getting 1/2” of rain over a few hours the cushions were very wet when the cover was taken off the next day. Not sure how this happened with a “waterproof “ cover. Does not appear to be breathable as they claim. Very disappointed.
If it’s perfectly, it’s great quality, and they were quite timely.
This grill cover has survived several storms without shifting. The material feels premium and still looks flawless after months outdoors.
This grill cover sits perfectly around the edges and feels incredibly durable. Water does not linger on the surface and the handles make it simple to remove. Excellent quality.
These chair covers have done an excellent job resisting dust and pollen. The grommets make securing them simple and the fabric still looks new after months outdoors.
The water repellent surface works exactly as described. The cover tightens neatly with the drawstring and protects the grill from rust and debris. The design feels well planned and very practical.
The grill cover feels heavy duty without being stiff. It stays secure during storms and the color remains rich even under full sun. The order arrived earlier than expected which was a pleasant bonus.
