Step 1 - Length and width
Measure the length and width of what you're covering at the longest and widest points.
Step 2 - Add overhang
Add 6 to 12 inches of overhang per side for general use, or 12 to 24 inches for exposed or high-wind sites. For tall loads, add twice the height to your base dimensions so the tarp reaches down the sides.
Step 3 - Choose your fabric and hardware
Pick 18 oz or 12 oz based on how the tarp will be handled, then choose grommet spacing and whether to add reinforced webbing. Enter your final numbers for an instant price — every panel is cut to order.
This rectangle and square tarp is built in either of our two solid coated fabrics — pick the weight that matches how the tarp will actually be used.
18 oz (610 gsm, 22 mil), 1000-denier PVC-coated fabric — our heaviest build. It resists tearing, abrasion, and oil and grease, and stays flexible down to -20°F instead of cracking at the folds. 7-year warranty. Choose it for equipment and storage that stays outdoors permanently or gets handled roughly.
12 oz (410 gsm, 15 mil) PVC-coated fabric. Same 100% waterproof barrier, in a build light enough for one person to fold and re-deploy alone. 5-year warranty. Choose it when the tarp comes on and off regularly.
Both fabrics share the same construction: heat-welded seams with no stitch holes, a reinforced hem, and rustproof brass grommets set at the four corners or spaced at approximately 24, 18, or 12 inches around the perimeter. Welded D-rings are available at 24 or 12 inches, and 1.5" reinforced webbing can be added around the edge for wind or repeated tensioning.
Square panels are ordered the same way as rectangles — this is as much a heavy duty square tarp custom build as it is a rectangular one.
